This is a story for those who love frogs, critters, reading to their children and rock painting.
Grrk the Motorbike Frog is a tiny little chap, looking for a new home. Meeting many other wonderful creatures, with their own names and all lovingly depicted by rock paintings, you can share his adventures.
If your child loves finding and hiding rocks, they will adore this story. If the interaction of tiny creatures in the bush and the park fascinates them, they will learn stuff!
Follow Grrk The Motorbike Frog on his adventure where he meets these and other wonderful critters. Get the story for free! Help Grrk support wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, too.
Meet some of the critters.
There is Ryan, the fox. You have to be careful of him, and Phoenix, the dung beetle, who interacts with Felix, the gecko.
You will meet Ally, the chatty black and white bird, who helps rescue Della, the butterfly, from Leah’s accidental web, and Albie, the friendly frog who wants to help Grrk when he is bullied.
After meeting Tilly, the turtle frog, Grrk is rescued from certain death by Layla, the pink butterfly.
Meantime, Mia, the mouse, finds a safe place to live with Oliver, the rabbit. Jacob, the owl, has to go hunting elsewhere!
How does it work?
Grrk The Motorbike Frog is a fun read for children, and written to help with fundraising for schools, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
Share the story with your family and let them choose which critter they want to be!
Albie, the friendly frog who helps Grrk when he is being bullied. “Right alongside him, peeping into the water, with a mischievous look was another green frog. “Hello,” he said. “Who are you? My name is Albie”
Ally, the chatty bird who rescues the butterfly. “It took Ally barely a few seconds, to snatch the cobweb away, and she was careful not to damage the butterfly’s wings. She was singing, as she flew away, happy to get on with her nest building.”
Phoenix, the dung beetle (great for 7-9yo boys!) “Tell me, Phoenix,” Grrk asked. “What happens if there is no poo?” Phoenix the dung beetle had made a sad face. “I die!” he said dramatically.”
Layla, the heroine dragonfly, who helps save Grrk the frog from certain death. “Grrk was completely terrified. Layla was buzzing backwards and forwards over his head, saying “run, run, run” as the earth was falling all around them.”
