This short video is of some of the men and machinery building the Ground Zero Memorial in New York City, as part of the commemoration of the bombing of the Twin Towers on 11th September 2001.
As it happened, I was staying in New York for a couple of days with my daughter in law, Pauline Duhart. We were up on the 7th floor of a hotel, right next door, and the sounds of the machinery were quite clear.
The next time we were in New York together was the day Osama Bin Laden was killed.
